The Lai’s are probably the richest people that I know. They have a five story house that looks like another building in Repulse Bay, where they live. There’s an elevator inside that I hear is amazing. I have not been there yet, but Mom says the house is amazing. They have helpers and gatekeepers and the like. They are a nice family: very generous and quite frugal. They have a driver (Ming) that takes them wherever they want. That must be really nice because then they don’t have to wait around for a bus or a taxi.
They’re selling their house, incase any of you are interested: $35,000,000 USD.
